Bug Description

Binary package hint: oregano

If you place more than one voltage clamp, its not apparent which clamp should be say v (0) or v(1) in the diagram. This makes it hard to interpret the simulation results unless you can predict the numbering, I think.

Does this issue still exist in 8.10 or 9.04?

Yes. Is attempting replication no longer part of standard bug procedure?

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start oregano.
2. Click VDC then Place and place a power source. Click anywhere on the schematic to place.
3. Click Resistor then Place to place a resistor.
4. Click Gnd then Place to place a ground.
5. Click on the wire tool (pencil icon) and connect in this order:
    a. power to resistor
    b. resistor to ground
    c. ground to power
6. Click on the clamp tool (weird thing with a red V, next to the pencil) and place a clamp before and after the resistor.
7. Click Simulate. If you did it right, a new window appears with a graph; each clamp is a "node".

The trouble is, if you have three or more of these clamps, or a complicated schematic, it can be hard to predict which clamp is which.

I can confirm this now, and agree that the voltage clamps should contain labels. The upstream bug watch that has been linked brings you to a 'PAGE NOT FOUND'.
