Binary package hint: popularity-contest
The latest changelog to 1.39ubuntu3 says that mail support is removed and yet there is still a Recommends dependency on an MTA.

Thanks for your bugreport.
The changelog entry may be misleading. The support was not removed, we just disabled it by default. But I removed the recommends because we do not support mail submission currently in ubuntu.
