emacs-chess instalation doesn't work

Bug Description

Binary package hint: emacs-chess

I have my kubuntu recently installed, then try install my favourite packages, one of these emacs-chess, #apt-get install emacs-chess at the first time apparently it's rigth, but after a few time I see the follow message:
Configurando emacs-chess (2.0b5-1) ...
install/emacs-chess: Handling install for emacsen flavor emacs21, logging to /tmp/elc_U3FxMD.log
and emacs-chess is not installed.

Which version of Ubuntu do you use? Can you please attach the log (in /tmp) and the error message that states that the package is not installed.

I tried to reproduce it (Feisty, x86), it took a long time to install and was installed with errors. However, it seems to work.

I'm runnig kubuntu-6.10-desktop-i386. Sure, apparently the package
it's correctly installed, but when I try to install other package
appear the emacs-chess error, and also apparently the package it's
installed.
I will provide later the log message (I have my laptop at home).

P.S. the log message is very long.

Is this package still broken? I tried it now (again) and seems to work perfectly on both Feisty and Gutsy.
