I can confirm that version 1.6.5.git200610 14.ac1- 1ubuntu4 does not work with my Intel DG965WH motherboard either. However, I grabbed the current version of the modesetting driver from freedesktop.org git per https:/ /bugs.freedeskt op.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 8706
which got the display working, but with a bad resolution.
I applied the patch mentioned here https:/ /bugs.freedeskt op.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 9680 and I now have working a 1680x1050 display.
I would assume that this package will be updated to the newer driver before the Feisty Fawn release.
