Bug Description

Binary package hint: hotkey-setup

My Lenovo ThinkPad R60 wasn't recognized by the init script.

$dmidecode --string system-manufacturer
LENOVO
$dmidecode --string system-version
Thinkpad R60

The problem seems to be that the script is checking for "*Thinkpad*".

Changing this to "*Think[Pp]ad*" fixed the problem for me.

This appears to be resolved in karmic, where /lib/udev/rules.d/95-keymap.rules doesn't match on the system-version at all for applying the keymap; so marking as fixed. If you find that it is not, feel free to reopen this report.

affects: hotkey-setup (Ubuntu) → udev-extras (Ubuntu)
