Bug Description

Binary package hint: nicotine

When started, nicotine crashes and prints the backtrace on terminal, where I'm unable to redirect it with e.g. nicotine 2>&1 | tee nicotine.log. Perhaps it is printing on /dev/tty.

This is really two bugs, I suppose.

Probably. It's not quite the same crash, but the backtrace seems to be the same, or at least very similar. Here's the hand-copied backtrace. I'm sorry I can't provide the full crash report.
