Bug Description
I'm using Ubuntu 6.10, mc 1:4.6.1-5
Mc always shows password for ftp in the directory hotlist.
For example, if your directory is
ftp://me:<email address hidden>
you can see the password each time you browse the list.
After googling, I've found some patches (for redhat :( ) on the page http://
is it possible to fix the problem for ubuntu too?

Edgy is not supported anymore. Could you check if this is still an issue in a later version of Ubuntu?
