Update features grabs wrong kernel

Bug Description

This is an x86 processor(Pentium 4) running Ubuntu 6.06(Dapper Drake); I ran the Update Manager and it grabbed the K7 comiled version of the 2.6.15-27. This doesn't seem like a big deal except that if I were a non-familiar linux user I wouldn't know what to do when the default grub option wouldn't boot.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue with the latest versions of the Dapper kernel? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunetely I've since installed Kubuntu 7.10 on that laptop so I'm no
longer using that revision. Thanks for asking though, and I know you
probably have this inherent sense of things but your operating system kicks
serious ass. Keep this up.
