screen position and size of opened applications

Bug Description

Please consider giving these 3 program applications the same ability to be opened in the same desktop position and window size that they were last opened at/in, similar to the way the little calculator program works now:

1)Terminal 2) text editor, and 3) dictionary.

I am looking at these applications on the Feisty Herd 2 daily O/S installation, Gnome.

If these are not considered part of the Ubuntu O/S, please pass this suggestion along to the proper parties.

However, I do not think it is a bug, but more a feature request.
