This is occurring in 9.10. It appears to happen intermittently when I receive messages on MSN.

The bug is still problem.
I have updated my system recently, but I had the same error about 10 minutes ago.

Te error message comes always when a text is received

I saw it happens while you receive messages who should have personal emoticons in it, i can't see the emoticons but the crash reporting message appears everytime you should see them.

It happens always when a certain contact of MSN changes status. But I cant' reproduce it by purpose. Sorry

Yes, I can reproduce it consistently every 20 seconds. This happens whenever I'm offline and chatting with someone on MSN.
However, I think it's a duplicate of bug 459366.
