Bug Description

Binary package hint: tsclient

I'm using tsclient to acces to a windows client machine. I have a problem with spanish language on tsclient. I use as User Name, Antonio Jesús. When tsclient try to connect with windows machine, appears as User Name Antonio Jes\303\272s.

Answer from Erick Woods, author of tsclient:

"That would be a bug in GTK, the toolkit that's used for tsclient and all GNOME apps, I think. I'm escaping the username string so bad characters don't get passed and, apparently, it's doing too much."
