Hello Roswitha,

Thank you for the bug report, however I think we are going to need a little more information than this to continue this report, can I ask what you were doing when this crash occurred? Can you reproduce it reliably? Any other information at all?

(I would say to attach the crash file, however at the moment there isn't a debugging package for Thunderbird, but we are working on one for the next version of Ubuntu :))

Thanks again, Alex.

Hello Alex,

I'm sorry, but can't find the crash file - I'm just a newbie and I
thought that I did send it with the bug report.

Bye

Roswitha

Hello Roswitha,

As per Freddy can you please try looking in the /var/crash folder, (Accessible through the file manager, (When you click the browse button)), then uploading the crash starting with "_usr_lib_mozilla-thunderbird_", this will help us get to the root cause of the problem.

Can you also describe what you were doing when you experienced this crash?

Thanks, Alex.

Hello Alex,

Unfortunately the crash folder is empty! I was sure that when I sent
you my first e-mail that I sent you also the bug report. The bug
occurred when I was changing some informations in my address book.

Sorry, Roswitha

Hello Roswitha,

Oh well, as we do not have a crash report we cannot really take this further as we simply do not know what the cause of the issue is, I am therefore forced to close this report as incomplete.

Thanks again, Alex.
