Happened while I was attempting to save a file to my home directory. The file dialog never finished drawing.

This also happened to me this morning. I was trying to upload a file to launchpad and the file box never finished drawing, then crashed on me.

Kess can you somehow more or less reliably reproduce this bug?

Unfortunately not. There wasn't anything special about the original action: I right-click-save-as'd a file, and the file dialog popup never finished drawing itself. I haven't been able to reproduce it. The only thought I had about the situation is that GTK may have been trying to thumbnail all the random junk in my home directory. (Normally I save to /tmp)
