crash in operapluginwrapper

Thanks for your bug report. What exactly were you doing when Opera crashed?

Nothing special. Just browsing web pages with a lot of flash animations...

I get the message that 'operapluginwrapper has crashed' every time I open opera. I've attached the crash report.

Well, opera is closed source go here: http://www.opera.com/support/bugs/ and file a bug. This: http://my.opera.com/csant/blog/show.dml/46389 might be also of your attention since it is a proper way to make crash reports for Opera. There is also a mailing list if you want some feedback from Opera devs. http://list.opera.com/mailman/listinfo/opera-linux
Also make sure you are using the latest Opera (9.21)

That's cool, I understand that Opera is closed source, but my problem is Gutsy related, in Feisty although it doesn't work great (flash plugin crashes from time to time) still works while in Gutsy any page that has Flash maximizes CPU so I need kill operapluginwrapper everytime I forget to turn the plugins off.

I understand that there are 3 pieces of software here out of which 2 are closed source: Opera and Flash Player, however the combination Opera + Flash + Feisty works (not great -- but works) while Opera + Flash + Gutsy is disaster... so maybe there's something that's Gutsy related.

I believe there was a fix to the flash plugin in gutsy. Has this resolved your issue?
