Add speaker configuration in Sound Properties

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

Currently, gnome-sound-properties can select sound device for there usage. but there is no speaker configuration.

Could you add these settings in gnome-sound-properties?

Type of output:
 analog, digital(passthrough?), both, e.g
  (if output is digital, user don't have to select speaker type. )

Type of speaker:
 earphone, stereo, 4 channel, 5.1 channel, 7.1 channel, e.g

Thank you for your bug. Can you explain what a "4 channel speaker" is exactly? What do you want to configure about the speaker? That's a simple device, you can't control things like the number of canal to use

I have SBLive as audio device, and 4 channel speaker(output to Front left, Front right, Rear left, Rear right).

In default configuration, just Front left, and Front right output is working,

But after change output plugin pipeline to "alsasink device=surround40", all speaker output is working.

And if speaker type is digital (exactly, sound card is connected to external digital amp with spdif), It need to resample audio sampling rate. Most of digital output support 48000Hz only.

And it need to change output plugin pipeline to "alsasink device=spdif".

That looks like a corner case, marking the bug rejected, we already have too many things to work on and that one doesn't look something we are wanting to spend time on
