Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

in my wpa_supplicant I have the line:

phase2="auth=PAP"

NetworkManager applet has no place for me to put this, when I try to connect to the network (since it's basically just a wrapper for wpa_supplicant, the feature should exist) so I cannot connect to my university network using NetworkManager and instead have to fall back on wpa_supplicant, which is a real pain.

Same request for me. I would like to connect to my university network using NetworkManager. EAP-type is TTLS using phase2 PAP authentication. I'm falling back to wpa_supplicant, which is a pain for end-user.

Also it seams that this functionnality is available in other distros, as you can see on this picture : http://rorschach.concordia.ca/neg/remote_access/wireless/gnome-network-manager.png

This has been fixed in Gutsy and it is no problem to compile new Network-Manager against Feisty.
