Bug Description
In short:
Edgy hangs during boot when no usb mouse is in plugged in.
I have a pentium M 1.7Ghz laptop, 1.5G ram, 40G HDD, ati mobility radeon 9700, with pcmcia wireless card (D-link DWL-G650)
When I do not have my usb mouse plugged in the kernel just hangs, there are no errors. The kernel seems to stop at different points if I remove my pcmcia card, again no errors.
I have been unable to debug this problem using the kernel output messages, as there seems to be no errors. The system just hangs there with the fan going. I have only left it on for 5 mins, so there is a chance that it maybe get going again after that (I'll try that and see).

This doesn't just happen with the installed system, the live cd does the same thing. So if not a configuration problem I don't think.
This maybe just be one of those funny 1/1000000 bugs...I guess I'll just have to get use to plugging in the mouse when I boot.
