initramfs hook script exits prematurely creating bad defaults

Bug Description

Binary package hint: mdadm

If there are no defined ARRAYs in mdadm.conf the /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/mdadm script stops at line 182. There seems to be no way to put MD_DEVS=none (line 270) to /conf/md.conf to prevent completly any md setup from initramfs. Now I've got kernel modules loaded.

I have installed mdadm but I neither want initscripts to start any arrays nor to load any modules.

If the INITRDSTART is 'none' than no arrays should be started and no modules loaded.

I have installed lvm2 which for some reasons bring in mdadm although I have no RAID. During package configuration I chose to not start any RAIDs automatically nor in the initramfs. Still, I get warnings about "no arrays" and "emergency procedure".
