usplash hangs on radeon mobility 200

Bug Description

Binary package hint: usplash

When booting up my hp nx6125 which has a radeon mobility 200 video card, the system hangs right before it should display the login screen. When i switch terminals in the beginning of the boot up process alt + f2 and then back alt + f1 then usplash dissapears and everything starts up just fine. When i remove the "splash" option from grub bootup everything starts up just fine.

Same problem here with a acer TM 8000 (mobility RV350)
