Bug Description

Openstack Incubating project

"Identity service for use with OpenStack. Initially using token-based authentication, but eventually supporting plug-in modules for identity storage (LDAP, DB, file, PAM, Active Directory, etc...), protocols (SAML, OAUTH, OpenID, etc...), and necessary middleware to support integration with OpenStack core, affiliated, and compatible services."

Initial pass of packaging complete.

Will any other packages need to be changed to make use of keystone or is it standalone?

@Laney, For Oneiric, the current plan is to simply provide it and allow people to make use of it with manual config changes - rather than configuration at packaging level.

There is no plan to make this a core component of openstack this cycle, and therefore not offically supported / Main this cycle - so tighter integration cannot happen.
