Kernel does not load suspend image after suspend-to-disk

Bug Description

After suspending to disk, Feisty never finds the suspend image, it boots the machine normally and detects swap partition corruption (because it didn't pick up the suspend image). I dist-upgrade'd to Feisty from Edgy (which I was using through Edgy development).

However, I've diff'ed my /etc directory against a default Feisty Fawn Herd 2 /etc and I haven't found anything that would indicate the problem. I can't really find any documentation on how the kernel bootstraps and finds the suspend info, perhaps that would help in the Wiki?

By the way, this should be in either linux-image or initrd-tools, I'm not sure which though

Kernel options for boot are kept in /boot/grub/menu.lst. Please attach that file to your bug report. There probably should be an option appended to the kernel like "resume=/dev/ha2" if hda2 is your swap partition. Thanks in advance.
