Bug Description

Hi.
I have Ubuntu installed with both Gnome (default) and KDE.
On edgy I could just login with the same user with a different window manager, but on feisty, it always returns to the first one open.

Hello BUGabundo,

I'm curious, why did you report the bug against the launchpad product? Did you follow any link from a Ubuntu application?
What steps did you take to file this bug?

Cheers.

Hi Diogo.
Since I started using Ubuntu, and specially Feisty, that I report all errors and bugs that I found either by apport, mailinglist, or launchpad.
The reason why I did it here, was just because I thought this was the right place. If not, please direct me to the correct place, and the philosophy for "Not a Launchpad bug"

Bugs reported against the launchpad product are about Launchpad itself.
If you found a bug in Ubuntu, you should report it against Ubuntu
<https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+filebug> or directly against the package you
found the bug on. I'm sure Ubuntu developers appreciate it.

I asked you because if you thought that launchpad product was the right place
we're not communicating that well, and this is likely a bug in Launchpad. Also
notice there's a major UI re-work going on at the moment that should address
lots of usability issues all over Launchpad, so stay tuned.

Cheers,

I didnt notice I filled the bug in the wrong place...

Thanks for your explanation

Thanks for your bug. That's likely to be due to the change from bug #67628, "AlwaysLoginCurrentSession=true" is used now. That's not really a bug, you can change that config key if you have a different usecase, login the same user several time under different desktop is not that common which is why we did that change

found it on /etc/gdm and changed it back.
When I restart gdm, i'll see if it is fixed.
Thanks
