Fresh install 5th time. Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn Herd3 i386.iso
Installed 102 of 103 updates available gnome-app-install 0.3.11 to 0.3.17(180kb) was held back for some reason. I have not restarted my computer yet since the updates because sometimes the computer doesn't recover. The default install Screen Resolution 1280x1024@75Hz gives me vertical lines about an inch apart. I switched to 1024x768@85Hz which works good until I log out or off. After I do, the screen comes up black with the mouse pointer as the moving ubuntu circle pointer. It's nice to see the auto-filing, auto-naming, and auto reporting working right today. I know this probably posted in the wrong place so feel free to move it. I need to restart the computer, so if if it works I will try to put the report in the right place. If it doesn't it may be awhile but for I post again. I thought I should post this time, because it's still happening, like the CLVM Cluster Management problem/bug in Herd2 I never posted because I thought it was some I did wrong. I also have an update-app-install crash.

Nice to see the crash reports are uploading today, the files are not claiming there empty or locked, and that the Launchpad isn't giving timing out errors or broken links while doing simple things today.

Confirmed.

Interesting to note that the imported module is under /usr/share/pycentral/hwdb-client-common/site-packages/hwdb_client/, and is installed by hwdb-client-common 0.6-0ubuntu21.

Changed in hwdb-client:
status: Unconfirmed → Confirmed

I guess this is high impact, since hwdb-gui is pretty much non-functional right now.

   * fix wrong replaces line for hwdb-client-gnome

to make sure we pick up the python2.5 targeted version.
