pdftotext produces invalid utf-8

Bug Description

pdftotext creates text that causes perl to complain that '"\xEF" does not map to Unicode'.
Parameters given to pdftotext were -enc UTF-8 -eol unix -nopgbrk.

Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Could you try on hardy? The example seems to be working correctly there

I tried to reproduce the bug on gutsy and the output was correct as well.
Seems that it has been fixed upstread already.
