Thanks for the precisions, I've never done that before. I'm trying to
upload the report file as an attachment to a comment of the original bug
report for almost two hours now, but firefox still says that it's
loading... Isn't there any other way to do it?
Thanks again,
Florian

John, since you have been doing a lot of retraces lately, maybe you can guide grokokok on how to retrace by himself - so he can upload just the stack-trace? ... if you cannot (no time, no motivation atm) please reassign back to me; I will then take care of this.

Grokokok, ok I would make a folder in your home dir. and take the _usr_bin_firefox.... in /var/crash and copy it to the new folder you just made in $HOME. Ok now cd into the folder than make another folder inside the one you made in $HOME, I normally name it "parts". Ok now install firefox-dbg. Once that is done please open terminal cd to where you copied the _usr_lib_firefix... file to and type "apport-retrace _usr_bin<or whatever the file name is>" without the ". once that is done you need to run "apport-unpack _usr_bin...<filename> or <just use the tab key to auto complete the _usr_bin file> anyway after the file name have a space and type "parts" if you named the folder parts. than just upload the Stacktrace and the Threadstacktrace if ther eis one. If you have any issues let me know in grave detail what it is i will see if i can work it out with you.

Thank you Alexander ;)
Thank you Grokokok for attempting this. please dont get discouraged its not really alot of work it just is in writing, and I will be here to help you. just one thing to keep in mind. COPY the file from /var/crash to another folder you make this way you leave the orginal untouched incase it doesnt work right. I am working on a few bugs in apport locally to se eif i can get it to work right.

If you receive an AssertionError you can pretty much ignore that for now. If you get a KEY error let me know you may need feistys version of apport. Just let me know what happens Thank You.

Thanks a lot for your help John,
I followed your instructions and it looks like it worked.
About Alexander's request :
1/ I was in the middle of the download of a 150 Mo yousendit file, it was awfully slow, by the way, less than 10Ko/sec. In the meantime, i was downloading a cuple of files on aMule, writing on Openoffice and Evolution was open.
2/ I successfully tried to download the yousendit file afterwards.
3/ Here is the Stacktrace, the Threadstacktrace will follow.

And the Threadstacktrace...
Hope this will help.
Thanks for all.

Thank you for attaching those 2 files. I will have Alexander look at them and see if they are good for him. you are still missing debug symbols but that is because you dont have every -dbg package installed that the user had real package of. We will let you know if we need anything further thank you again.
