Streaming Video with Totem-plugin for Mozilla Firefox does not work since I installed the latest updates form Ubuntu. -No Video- appears on the screen

Websites like Omroep.nl and uitzendinggemist.nl, streaming video does not work anymore since I installed the latest updates from Ubuntu

What version of ubuntu? what version of totem. is it totem-gstreamer or totem-xine? Have you tried another player-plugin maybe mplayer? do you have all the codecs installed?

Now I have the mplayer-plugin installed with Xine.

Works fine, even better than Totem

My updated Ubuntu (feisty) also cannot play anything in Firefox with totem-mozilla

Same problem here with the Totem plugin 2.18.1

The video starts buffering but never loads.

Opening the same video stream directly within Totem works fine.

@ubuntu jack:
stating that mplayer works better doesn't really help a lot the developers, does it? ;)

Ubuntu Feisty Fawn Beta geinstalleerd en alles loopt als een zonnetje :)
N.B. Veel nieuwe updates elke dag voor Feisty, werkt prima overigens

Can you please use english?

Anyway, this problem is known to be caused by totem-xine ... totem-gstreamer works well.
