Bug Description

Binary package hint: pdftk

pdftk man page is out-of-date, compare:

  man pdftk
  pdftk --help

Among others, the current version of pdftk makes it possible to rotate pages in a pdf file. The man page does not mention it at all, but it is documented in --help.

There is also a bug in "pdftk --help": it prints ISO-8859-1 text (note the DEGREE SIGN characters, 0xB0) in UTF-8 locales.

seems like it is not the man page but the tool that is out of date.

pdftk in Dapper is 1.12, while feisty is 1.40... so rotate only works on feisty.

as far as I know, a complete man page content can be found at:
http://www.pdfhacks.com/pdftk/#packages
