Rhythmbox audio still audible with sound muted

Bug Description

I've set the master volume to 0% in Gnome Volume Control 2.17.90. PCM set to 80%.
When I play an ogg stream in rhythmbox I still hear audio when it should be muted. I'm using Feisty Fawn herd 2.

Hi Ricardo

Do you have this issue with any other application? For example other media players. Or does this happen just with Rhythmbox?
