Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

Evince in feisty no longer seems to be able to open postscript files. I have converted the same files to pdf using my system's ps2pdf, and the pdf then displays OK.

Here's one example: http://dimacs.rutgers.edu/Workshops/NucleicAcid/longpart.ps

So far, I haven't been able to get it to show any actually postscript files. This worked in edgy.

Apparently, the interpreter is failing:

$ killall evince
$ evince longpart.ps

** (evince:7833): WARNING **: Interpreter failed.

Thank you for your bug. Do you have gs-esp-x installed?

Hmmm.. that didn't paste as well as I expected. Anyway, only gs-esp and gsp-common are installed.

After installing gs-esp-x, evince can display my postscript files. Is this an unmarked dependency or something?
