Bug Description

Sometimes when I'm loading a program that uses graphics (i.e Kaffeine, Blender, Games) my system will crash that program. Sometimes when I try the same programs my mouse, computer and everything else freezes and I have to reboot. And other times my computer just either reboots or the screen goes black and I go to a text login.
I am using Kubuntu 6.10 edgy eft with the nvidia binary drivers. (32mb onboard Geforce2)

See sometimes happens to me too. After deinstallting package "powernowd" it is quite better, but from time to time it happens.

Ubuntu 7.10 (in previous version 7.04 it happens too).
With or without nVIDIA driver installed. GeForce 7800 GS 512.
