Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

Unmounting a removable volume from right-clicking its icon in Nautilus's left bookmark pane and selecting Unmount does not trigger an unmount libnotify popup -- which can lead to data loss as the user may think it's safe to rip out the volume.

This was last tested on Feisty but Dapper and below all have this issue too.

I'm sorry -- it appears like gnome-mount only pops up notify bubbles when media has unflushed data.... well IMO this deserves another bug ticket, but this one is closed.
