Bug Description

Binary package hint: wireshark

When using Wireshark to analyze Diameter data, it need the library libxml2.so. If it fails to find it shows two warning messages one telling "Diameter: Using static dictionary! (Unable to use XML)" and the other "XMLStub: Unable to open module libxml2.so"

The package libxml2 installs libxml2.so.2 and libxml2.so.2.6.26, and the package libxml2-dev installs libxml2.so.

This makes wireshark show the warning messages if libxml2-dev is not installed.

Making a soft link from libxml2.so.2.6.26 to libxml2.so solves the problem.

Wireshark version: 0.99.3a-1ubuntu1
libxml2 version: 2.6.26.dfsg-2ubuntu4

Thank you for your bug report.
Is libxml2.so necessary to run wireshark or such messages are intended for debugging purposes?
