Bug Description

after uppgrading to kernel 2.6.20-8 i cant scroll or use my side buttons on my (Microsoft intelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth) i have lockt in the
x11/xorg.conf bytt i looke the same as it have in the kernel 2.6.17-10 and 2.6.17-11

I can confirm. Work around:
Place this in xorg:
Section "InputDevice"
 Identifier "Configured Mouse"
 Driver "mouse"
 Option "CorePointer"
 Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
 Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
 Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
 Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true"
 Option "ButtonMapping" "1 2 3 6 7"

Seems more like wishlist item for enabling the extra mouse buttons automatically in X.

This should be fixed now in intrepid, now that input-hotplug is in place. Please test the Intrepid Alpha-4 CD and feel free to re-open this bug if there are still remaining issues.
