Bug Description
Sorry to blast this through, but one last round of changes before we switch dmedia to this shiny new filestore.
Lots of aesthetic cleanup, but also tightens down a few security and data-integrity issues (a good thing).
I reorganized filestore.py a bit to make it easier to review.
