I was only able to reproduce this once... I restarted it, and it all works fine, even on another account.

William, before you do. Can you open up gconf-editor and tell me what your app/penguintv/window_layout is set to?

Uninstalling this program doesn't reset the gnome-config for my user. With your information I can manually switch back to a normal view.
