Bug Description

When attempting to install Ubuntu Feisty herd 4 (ISO dated 02-15-2007), I get the following message, if I do NOT choose the safe graphics mode parameter:

Busy Box v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-3Ubuntu2) built-in shell (Ash)

Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands

/bin /sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
(initramfs)

Please note that I can install Ubuntu Dapper (DESKTOP CD) on this machine without getting this problem. I also was NOT getting the problem with the last ISO of Herd 3 that I installed.

The machine video is being run by an ATI Radeon 7000 DDR 64mb (manufacturered by Power Color) video card hooked to a Samsung SyncMaster 15GL CRT monitor.

Thanks.

Thanks for your bug report. Could you please attach the full output of 'lspci -vvnn' to your bug report? Thanks in advance.
