Bug Description

Visit http://ubuntu.com/
Type Linux in the search box and press 'Enter'.
Note that the first three pages are Ubuntu Security Notices (USNs) relating to Linux Kernel Vulnerabilities.

Not a great bit of marketing.

Searching for Linux on the Ubuntu home page should at the very least yield a result (however far buried/hidden from normal navigation) which explains what Linux is and how it relates to Ubuntu.

Two solutions to this:

1. Improve the SEO for the keyword "Linux." - this would have farther reaching benefits than just our own built in search engine.

2. Add negative weighting to the /usn area so that it is less likely to show first in search results.

I'm going to change this bug to assign it to the proper project.

I see a few other pages before the USNs now. Maybe John can have a look at this bug, add it to the search project? I'm assigning it to John and marking it as wishlist/nice to have. The search definitely needs improvements.

The domain '/usn/*' was lowered to the lowest priority in the search filtering settings. Thats why it has reduced from the results. This isn't ideal for a full solution but works in this instance.
