package update errors afer fresh install

install kUbuntu Feisty 7.04 from alt distro CD. After installing & rebooting, click on Adept Notifier, enter password, fetch updates or skip fetch list, 98 upgrades found and, apply updates. After downloading the install process starts and this is when the errors start. First error is; "Debcon on av6100: Incorrect nice value, Please enter an integer between -20 and 19.
The other errors are;
