Thanks for your bugreport.

It seems like you run a mixed ubuntu/debian system. Can you please attach the output of:
$ lsb_release -a

to this report?

Changed in synaptic:
status: Unconfirmed → Needs Info

Your are right, see the output below. But this puzzles me, because I don't use
Debian sources nor did I change distribution since Hoary....

LSB Version:
core-2.0-noarch:core-3.0-noarch:core-3.1-noarch:core-2.0-ia32:core-3.0-ia32:core-3.1-ia32:cxx-2.0-noarch:cxx-3.0-noarch:cxx-3.1-noarch:cxx-2.0-ia32:cxx-3.0-ia32:cxx-3.1-ia32:graphics-2.0-noarch:graphics-3.0-noarch:graphics-3.1-noarch:graphics-2.0-ia32:graphics-3.0-ia32:graphics-3.1-ia32:desktop-3.1-noarch:desktop-3.1-ia32
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: DebianEdu/Skolelinux (terra)
Release: 3.2
Codename: etch

Very strange, I never installed Skolelinux on this computer.

Thanks for this information.

Please attach your sources.list and give me the output of:
$ dpkg -l lsb-release

This way we should be able to figure where the package comes form :)

Find below the output:

/ Name Version Beschreibung
+++-=================================-=
ii lsb-release 3.1-22ubuntu2 Linux
Standard Base version reporting utility

FInd attached my sources.list

I have been using the Swiss mirror until lately and changed it to the general
archives Monday as your patches were not showing up very fast.

Thanks for your help!
