Bug Description

Binary package hint: amaya

The installation of Amaya 9.53 apparently works without a glitch.
When I start the program I can only see a brief opening of a screen, which closes immediately.

I am using feisty beta and also cannot use Amaya 9.53, as it gives me the following errors:

However, I am able to install and use 9.54 from the Amaya binary downloads page.
