Bug Description

https://dev.launchpad.net/UserPreferences contains a <<UserPreferences>> macro which is not expanded. It now seems that I have to go to https://dev.launchpad.net/FrontPage?action=userprefs and then choose one of the two options given (Notifcation or Preferences).

You should now be able to click your username in the footer and edit
preferences from there. /UserPreferences still exists and is a bit wonky,
but should be fixed soon.

Hi guys,

I've linked a branch which should fix the issue. We upgraded Moin a while back and this changed UserPreferences. Rather than going to the UserPreferences page, you use an action to get the preferences page and subpages, as Gavin described in the original bug. I've submitted a patch to the theme which modifies the link to the user preferences to use the action. (I also totally cheated and deployed the patch already, but I'd prefer it if it were officially blessed.)

Thanks,
Stephane

@stephaneee, you ought to also propose your branch for merging.

Subject: My sides.

I'm sorry, but I know exactly where you're coming from. I've done my fair share of biblical study (back when I believed) and came to the same conclusion.
But what I've realized is that you have to look at what was done by these people, and what God commanded them to do. I don't think that God commanding Joshua to murder every man, woman and child in almost every city he came across is a very good example of god trying to make a flawed person better.

Sure, the overlying theme is that God made a promise to Abraham, and this promise was long later fulfilled through Joshua, the Judges, and the Kings later on. But this doesn't change that what was done by these people to get there was completely wrong, and not only did god condone it, he ordered it.
