Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

There is no support of SATA drive during installation. Because of this SATA drive could not be found and installation failed.

Hi, thanks for reporting this.

Failure to detect the SATA drive sounds like a kernel problem. It would be great it you could run the Live CD again and attach the output from these commands:

    * uname -a > uname-a.log
    * dmesg > dmesg.log
    * lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log
