After looking into this a bit; I'm wondering if it's not related to this post:

Unfortunately, seems like the suggested workaround of loading the module with "wd_disable=1" isn't available for some reason. I'm curious if using "fw_restart=0" instead to avoid restarting the firmware in case of errors would help, but it would really be best to have a second opinion from someone in the kernel team first, just to be safe. :)

There's also a patch on that thread, the changes in it don't appear to be applied to the kernel we have in Oneiric.

At least for wireless, I have almost the same hardware as Claire. I'm unfortunately not seeing any issues with my wifi after suspend/resume. Claire, would it be possible to get the dmesg output from your machine after you've done a suspend/resume cycle. I think we might also have access to a Thinkpad X200s in the lab, I'll inquire if QA can reproduce.

Just for comparison, relevant information for my hardware is as follows:

Hrm, so jamesf also has a Thinkpad X200s with an identical ethernet card and almost identical wireless card to Claire but running Oneiric he is not seeing any network problems, suspending or otherwise.

Brad Figg (brad-figg) wrote : Test with newer development kernel (3.0.0-12.20)

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report on this issue.

However, given the number of bugs that the Kernel Team receives during any development cycle it is impossible for us to review them all. Therefore, we occasionally resort to using automated bots to request further testing. This is such a request.

We have noted that there is a newer version of the development kernel than the one you last tested when this issue was found. Please test again with the newer kernel and indicate in the bug if this issue still exists or not.

If the bug still exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Confirmed. If the bug no longer exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to Fix Released.

Thank you for your help, we really do appreciate it.
