[apport] gnome-app-install crashed with UnicodeDecodeError in description()

Binary package hint: gnome-app-install

I was using the Add/Remove option from Applications.
The apps seem to have been added in spite of the error reports.
I am adding this report to provide further diagnostics to the already reported bug - sorry if that is inappropriate.
