XFCE4 steals gnome file associations.

Bug Description

To reproduce:

1. sudo apt-get install xfce4
2. Restart computer, log in to XFCE4 session and use it for a bit.
3. Restart computer, log in to "Ubuntu" (Unity) session.
3. Open a terminal.
4. xdg-open .

The last command opens thunar instead of nautilus until the thunar packages are completely uninstalled from the system.

Sorry, but I'm afraid it'll stay like that. You can still set up nautilus as the default file manager manually.

And what if the computer has two users, one who likes to use Gnome and Nautilus, and the other likes to use XFCE and Thunar?
