Thank you for the bug report. Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs, or upload the crash report from /var/crash/.

Also, please answer these questions:
Is this crash reproducible? If so, which are the steps that lead to it?
Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which firefox extensions do you have installed?

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Hey, all,

I use Ubuntu 6.10 - the Edgy Eft on an IBM Lenovo Z61t.

I have just had the same problem today. Today I have installed a new
flash plugin. I have Adove Flash Plaher (version 9,0,31,0) installed.

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7040080 2007-03-06 11:10 libflashplayer.so

Then, I have gone a head and watched several movies from youTube with no problem at all, but, rather than waiting until finishing the last movie, I have stopped it with the stop botton of the viewer and I have exit from firefox. This is when I have got a crash.

Here I have attached the crash report. I have shortened the file, because it was
10.6MB because there was an image one-line file (without line breaks) that I have deleted at the end. You only can see the beginning part.

Thank you.

We need the full report. You probably removed the core-dump which we
need to look into this problem. Do you still have the original report?

Here, you have the full file.

This bug is not happening consistently, but erractically. I have just tried the same thing and it has worked right.

Thank you,
David.

Thank you,

Let me add that this crash does not happen always.
It is quite mysterious.

I have already uploaded the big file with the core dump.

Thank you,
David.
