Unfortunately it was really random seeming. I was using the keyboard hit down a couple times, then hit up a couple (oops too far!) and a crash warning popped up. I was able to go back in and start working again with the same movements, so I think really know if the keyboard use had anything to do with it.

I just tried doing what I think I was doing when it happened .. and no problems. :(

I'm also seeing this problem. It's quite random-seeming. A crash window just sort-of "pops up" in my face while I'm using gnome-app-install. gnome-app-install does not close, in my case. In fact, it doesn't seem as if anything has gone wrong, aside from the crash dialog that appears. I've seen the problem happen more than once.

Thanks for this additional information.

I commited a fix into my bzr tree that will workaround the problem. I'm still not sure about the root-cause of the problem, but I work around it now. Once 0.3.26 is available, can you please keep an eye on it and check if it does not occur for you anymore?

Thanks,
 Michael

I just did a quick run-through of gnome-app-install (opened it,
searched, installed an app), and it worked okay. I'll follow-up if the
problem arises again.

Thanks.
