Bug Description

I am upgrading ubuntu. I Haven't used samba in quite a while and am not certain that it ever ran on this computer. I have a mixed Gnome/K install (started with kubuntu a long time ago) and have a lot of issues every time I do an automatic upgrade. I am inclined to believe it is my lack of competence rather than a bug...
