Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-apt
I upgraded Feisty this morning and found that I could no longer import apt_pkg. dpkg -L python-apt reveals that it's only installing documentation -- no python extensions or modules. python-apt-dbg provides debug versions of the modules, but they have different names (understandably) and don't appear to import properly. I'm investigating that separately.
Version is 0.6.20ubuntu8. Platform is i386.
The Launchpad tests import apt_pkg as a matter of course, so for me this bug is severe.
