Summit fails to show all my subscribed talks

Bug Description

The "hide talks that aren't for me" and ical feed only show one talk for me (eg linaro server summit). However, I have subscribed for many more talks, which do not show up. I've tried both summit.linaro.rg and summit.ubuntu.com with launchpad id riku-voipio, and same behaviour on both.

As I'm participating remotely from a different timezone, being able to see from my calendar which talks I have subscribed to would be incredibly useful.

I am unable to reproduce this.. How long after you subscribed are you checking the iCal and clicking hide? It takes a while before summit updates from LP.

My guess is that it's not including you as you are participating
remotely.

I don't know whether that is something that would have to be fixed in
Launchpad or Summit.

Thanks,

Chris Johnston, here is a quick way to reproduce:

Looking at page:

http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-p/2011-11-01/

Hover over "linaro server summit" (the first session in Grand Sierra I) , and see that my name is listed there.
Hover over "Linaro Ubuntu LEB: Improving the relationship with Ubuntu" (Grand sierra H), and see that my name is not there

Now when you click the actual blueprint of both, My id (riku-voipio) is listed in both. I subscribed the Linaro-ubuntu-leb session 28 hours ago. Meanwhile, two of the 4 talks I subscribed to *today* have been added to my calendar (and likewise are visible when I use the "hide talks not for me" feature).

If I look that blueprints above, the both have more subscribers listed in the blueprint compared to what is visible in the summit schedule. ho-hum.

Ok, I investigated this. This is a Launchpad issue. The +temp-meeting-export page seems to be cached on the server. We need to talk to Francis or Matt at UDS about this.

Nigel, what ever happened with this? Does it still need to be raised with Launchpad?

At least at http://summit.linaro.org/lcq1-12/ it seems subscribing to sessions works ok. Nothing obvious missing from the ical feed.

Chris,

Yes, this bug is about the personal subscribed talks ical feed.

http://summit.linaro.org/lce12/participant/my_schedule_82fddb5675f87dc64b72e138323e14c8.ical

For example on tuesday 30.10, there is only one ARMV8 minisummit session recorded, while there is 3. Likewise, only the first "Developer platform engineering tuesday" session is in the ical feed.

In the web interface, there are stars marked for these sessions.

Ok.. My guess is that this bug isn't correct as reported, and is actually a different bug. I believe that the bug is that the iCal isn't showing multi-slot meetings correctly. More similar to bug #994030

Yes, I guess you are correct and this is now a manifestation of #994030. At least I didn't see any other types of missing talks for now.
